TRAFFIC ALERT: Signal work Tuesday at St. Joe and the Lloyd

TRAFFIC ALERT: Signal work Tuesday at St. Joe and the Lloyd

 

The Indiana Department of Transportation says the traffic signal at State Road 62 (Lloyd Expressway) and St. Joe Avenue will be turned off for a short period of time next Tuesday morning.

At approximately 9:00 a.m., contractor crews will shut down the power to the signal so new infrastructure can be installed as a part of a modernization of the signals.  It is anticipated that work will be complete by noon and the signals will be re-activated. 

Law enforcement officials will be on hand to direct traffic through the area.

Tree removal planned on Vienna Road

Tree removal planned on Vienna Road

 

 

On Monday April 22 and Tuesday April 23, there will be periodic stoppages of traffic on Vienna Road between Slate Road and Posey County Line Road. 

One lane of Vienna Road will be closed for tree removal, but traffic will be flagged through the work area.  This tree removal work will take place between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. 

Motorists are advised that long delays are possible.

The Vanderburgh County Highway Department reports that the following road are being closed to all traffic due to high water:

Happe Rd. from Duesner Rd to Old Henderson Rd

King Rd from Happe Rd to Old Henderson Rd

Golden Rule Rd from Old Henderson Rd to Seminary Rd

Lane closure on Becker Parkway

Lane closure on Becker Parkway

The Evansville Sewer Department will have the westbound lanes of Ray Becker Parkway between Claremont & S Barker closed starting Monday, February 4 at 11:00 am for repair work. The road will be open on Friday, February 8 in the PM.

Motorists are asked to drive carefully and watch for the safety of the workers.
