EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE)-
As you can imagine, Tri-State sports bars are hoping for a super night Sunday night.
They're preparing to serve hundreds who will come out to eat, drink, and cheer on their team.
The west side Buffalo Wild Wings says other than mentally preparing to serve everyone, they tell me they expect to dish out thousands of wings, as well as hundreds of gallons of beer.
Manager Don Crohn says every year, the restaurant orders about 30 percent more supplies for the Super Bowl and sees both in-house and takeout orders well into the hundreds.
Crohn says he expects they will serve over 5,000 wings Sunday night, and between six and seven kegs of beer just at their west side location.
Staff at Buffalo Wild Wings 14 spoke to on Sunday say there is a lot of added stress for an event of this magnitude. But that they're ready for it, since they dealt with a near-record crowd last night, who showed up to watch UFC matches and the IU game.
"From the IU game last night, to go to Super Bowl today, it's like we were preparing for the end of the world. Filling up ranches, doing celery, it's been crazy. Last night couldn't have been any better preparation for today," Mackenzie Donovan said.
Crohn says people who showed up late for Saturday night's events had to wait over an hour for a table.
