Boil advisory for part of west side now lifted | News

The Evansville Water Utility is lifting the precautionary boil advisory issued January 28.

AREAS INCLUDED:

The following areas are included:

5419 Hogue Rd. to 7146 Hogue Rd. (Williams Dr. which is not included)

All the following areas are included:

Summertime Lane, Marlene Dr., Miller Rd., Westmore Dr., Raintree Dr. Dogwood Dr., Maya Ct., Nunning Rd., Nunning Ct.,

S. Boehne Camp from Hogue Rd. to 317 S. Boehne Camp

N. Boehne Camp from Hogue Rd. to Upper Mt. Vernon Rd.

Results of the samples collected from the affected area have revealed no evidence of contamination.  Accordingly, the boiling of water for consumption purposes is no longer necessary.
