Police searching for suspect in west side armed robbery
EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE)- Evansville authorities are searching for an armed robbery suspect on Evansville's west side.
Officials were called to Sally Beauty Supply on Red Bank Rd. around 7:00 Monday night.
Police say two employees were in the store when the suspect came in with his face partially covered, showed a handgun, and demanded money.
Authorities say the suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of money.
Officers say the suspect was a white male who had his face partially covered by a brown paper towel and was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt.
They say no one was injured.
Officers will be checking surveillance in the area.
