'Or-Kid' gives children fun knowledge of orchids | Events

Mesker Park Zoo is holding an event for kids this weekend.

The program is called Or-Kid and those who participate will learn about orchids, have fun creating a few craft, and enjoy an orchid themed snack.

This program is perfect for ages 5-12. The cost of this program for Zoo members is $10 or $15 for non-members.

The fun begins at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday and ends around noon.

This event is part of the zoo's Orchid Esape which goes until March 16.
