Healthy food at Fall Festival? Deaconess holding Q&A | Events

Deaconess  will host a Wise Choice question and answer help session on Monday, July 16 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Deaconess Hospital in the auditorium. This information session is intended for Fall Festival booth chairs who are interested in including a healthy food option at their booth.

Deaconess and the West Side Nut Club are teaming up to recognize "Wise Choices" for Fall Festival fans. At this year's festival, booths that offer a healthy food item (in addition to their usual fare) will receive added promotion. Wise Choice items will be specially featured, making booths easy to find for patrons who are looking for a healthy alternative.

Booth chairs can stop by anytime during the information session on July 16 to have their questions answered and be provided with the following:

•         Deaconess dietitians will be available to meet one-on-one to review recipes or help come up with ideas

•         Healthy food demos and tasty food samples
