An Evansville woman was arrested on meth charges Tuesday night. 

Evansville Police say they stopped a Toyota 4-Runner in the area of Maryland and Grove.  The driver, 22-year-old Heather Michelle Geier, had a felony warrant for failure to appear.

Inside her purse and in a passenger compartment of the SUV, police say they found meth and meth making ingredients, including what a police report says were "hundreds of pseudophed pills".  She's in the Vanderburgh County jail for possess

An overnight traffic stop led to the arrest of a west side man on drug and gun charges.

Evansville Police are investigating an armed robbery complaint after a Rally's employee says she and a companion were robbed while making a deposit to the lcoal Integra Bank branch.

A police report says the female worker pulled up to the depost box at 130 N. St. Joseph Ave., about 5:45 p.m.

Suspect arrested in Franklin St. bank robbery

Evansville Police have made an arrest in a bank robbery that happened Thursday afternoon at First Federal on West Franklin Street.

Police say a man wearing a hoodie with his face covered fled the bank with cash, while another man was the getaway driver.

Officers found what they believe was the getaway vehicle, a red pickup truck, parked in front of a home at Fountain and Third.

Police obtained search warrants and questioned seven people who were inside the home.

Evansville Police are looking for a suspect they say held up a west side bank.

It happened around 3:15 p.m. Thursday at the First Federal Savings Bank on West Franklin Street.

Dispatchers say the suspect got away in a red truck. They says his face was covered and he implied he had a gun.

We have a crew on the scene gathering information.

Indiana State Police increase patrols

In an effort to reduce injuries and deaths resulting from crashes on Indiana’s roadways, the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute (ICJI) and the Governor’s Council on Impaired & Dangerous Driving is joining 250 state and local law enforcement agencies to launch Operation Pull Over Blitz 67, “Click It or Ticket”. The Indiana State Police will also participate in the Click It or Ticket enforcement effort.

Indiana’s 2011 Click It or Ticket effort is taking place through June 5, covering the heavily traveled Memorial Day holiday.
