EPD officers attending multiple Neighborhood Association meetings tonight | Crime

Evansville Police officers plan to attend several Neighborhood Association meetings tonight.

The South Lincoln Park Dr. Neighborhood Association, Helfrich Neighorhood Association, Timber Park Neighborhood Association and South Dexter Neighborhood Association all have meetings tonight.

The times and locations for the meetings are as follows:

• South Lincoln Park Drive: 6:30pm, Methodist Temple
• Helfrich: 6:00pm, Helfrich Park STEM Academy
• Timber Park: 6:30pm, Good Shepherd Church
• South Dexter: 6:00pm, Dexter School

According to Evansville Police Public Information Officer Sgt. Jason Cullum, Crime Prevention Officers give safety tips, crime stats for the neighborhood and talk about any recent scams at the meetings.  One Crime Prevention Officer is scheduled to be at each meeting.

There are around 40 active neighborhood associations in Evansville.
