Woman robbed while stopped at University Drive stop sign | Crime

A 56-year-old Evansville woman was the victim of a strong arm robbery early Sunday morning.
Police say she was stopped at a stop sign on University Drive near the old Walmart around 1:30 a.m. when two men approached her vehicle and demanded her purse.
She told police one of the men threw some type of liquid on her, punched her in the face and cut her with some kind of sharp object.
She described them as two white males wearing dark hoodies. One had shoulder-lenght dark, stringy hair.
She said the two men ran off to the northwest. A police dog tried to track them but no arrests have been made.
